Banyan Heartland is a licensed residential treatment facility that provides a personal approach to care for men and women suffering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our highly trained team of physicians, nurses, therapists and residential staff are addiction specialists who will get to know each patient in order to develop an individualized recovery plan that follows a comprehensive model of treatment and integrates evidence-based methods with experiential therapies to treat the whole patient. Evolve’s residential treatment center offers compassionate, evidence-based treatment to adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, substance use, and/or behavioral issues. Many of our teens have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) ADHD, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Our handpicked treatment team consists of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, on-site nurses, Master’s-level residential counselors and 24-hour support staff. We utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with experiential therapies (e.g. equine-assisted therapy, mindfulness, surfing, music, art, drama, fitness, yoga and more). Teens participate in individual/family therapy at least five times a week, psychiatry sessions once a week, and daily groups on DBT Skills, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention. For out-of-state families, we conduct family therapy sessions via HIPAA-compliant video conference. We also provide daily academic support to help your adolescent stay on track with school.
