Even strong men struggle. And most times we struggle in silence and suffer alone because we have not been taught the language of emotions. So we retreat into a cave of isolation to process the complexities of life and get lost in that darkness because we do not know how to ask for help. And when a man cannot find the answers to life's dilemnas, he loses his sense of worth and falls into addictions to medicate the pain of depression. And the whole family suffers because he is present but not engaged. And that pathology becomes the only legacy we leave for our wives, sons and daughters.

I have close to 25 years of experience as a therapist, clinical supervisor and social worker. After all of these years, I remain 100% motivated in assisting my clients with getting them to where they want to be their in lives. I have had a very interesting and diverse career serving families, adolescents/children and couples in various settings. My extensive experience, training, and skill sets help my clients achieve their treatment goals which leads them to having healthier and happier lives. Also, I was previously in the military and love working with that population and their families.

Life transitions, anxiety, & trauma affect each person differently. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, 1984), Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy practitioner (2004), and 3-time breast cancer survivor it is my goal to guide and support each person's potential. Each day I feel honored, grateful and blessed to listen and participate in each personal story on your healing journey. As an e-RYT expert-Registered Yoga Teacher (teaching since 1972), A body-mind-spirit orientation and the person-in-environment all inform a holistic perspective. I am using Sue Johnson's EFT (Emotionally-Focused Therapy), to work with couples .
