Dallas Therapy Associates was founded by Dr. Bates in 2019. We are a group of psychologists who specialize in the treatment of individuals, couples, and families. I have been in private practice since 1979. I often see individuals who are experiencing depression and anxiety. I also work with couples who are struggling with marital distress. My specialty is sexual addiction, and I am a Dallas area Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) trained personally by Dr Patrick Carnes. I treat drug and alcohol dependence, and associated trauma, grief, and depression as well. I treat cybersex addiction, pornography addiction, multiple affairs, and other sexually compulsive behavior. Sexual addiction, like other addictions, affects the whole family system, especially the partner. I am a CPTT, Certified Partner Trauma Therapist as well.
