If you are looking for a therapist who can provide some insight regarding an issue, a relationship or other distress, you have come to the right place. I became a licensed professional counselor because I have a passion in helping others to overcome life's challenges they are facing. I believe in using a collaborative approach with each client and meeting each individual where he or she is at. In our first session, we will explore what treatment approach is appropriate to best suit your needs. I specialize in anxiety/depression, chemical dependence, opioid dependence,dual diagnosis, and sleep issues.
Other areas of specialty include: trauma disorders, domestic violence, codependency, and anger issues. My approach to treatment includes cognitive behavior therapy; solution focused brief therapy, and motivational interviewing. Additionally, I provide HIPAA compliant video conferencing/email/chat/text. Clients may prefer this modality due to distance or other limitations.
Therapy often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress. As a therapist I will help you to navigate through the challenges and stress of life with complete empathy and confidentiality.
