I bring nearly ten years of experience in guiding adults and teens through their therapy journeys. My background spans inpatient hospital settings, outpatient community health centers, specialized outpatient clinics, and private practice, equipping me with a broad perspective on mental wellness. I help marriages on the verge of divorce, parents whose children are a mystery or having behavioral/emotional problems, and individuals who struggle with depression, trauma and anxiety. My success rate for saving marriages on the brink of divorce is approximately 80%. I believe my extensive training in Gottman marriage therapy Level 1 and 2, solution focused therapy, trauma, stress, and attachment theory and measures (AAI, Ainsworth Infant Scales, Circle of Security, Attachment Storytelling Completion Task,Mac Arthur Preschool Method) provides me unique insight into how relationships work. Dr. Bruce Perry was also my mentor.

For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of counseling people of all ages and backgrounds that have struggled with anxiety, depression, marital conflict, family issues and academic concerns. Over the past five years, I have also started working with clients that have alcohol and drug related problems. Everyone is so unique. Therefore, my therapeutic approach is a nonjudgmental positive regard and it is tailored to fit the individual, couple and/or family. It has been very rewarding to watch so many clients make better choices and live a more full, enriched life. Every day is a new beginning!

A Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years in the behavioral and mental health field, I have experience providing behavior modification and mental health therapy services in a variety of settings including day treatment and residential treatment programs for at-risk youth, a non-profit community agency serving individuals with physical disabilities, and an outpatient mental health clinic serving children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. My name is Patricia Aniakudo. I have over 30 years of experience in the field and am happy to walk with you on your path as you develop and meet your goals. A little bit about me; I have Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work. Over the years I have trained and specialized in multiple areas such as: gender specific treatment for women and men, filial (parent/child) therapy, trauma informed/trauma specific treatments including responding to and managing chronic community violence, Criminality, Violence in Families, Gambling, Addiction, Parenting & Co-Parenting. individuals/ families involved in multiple systems.

My name is Dan Dashner. I am dually licensed in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. As a therapist, I prefer to look beyond labels and identify and resolve root causes for emotional pain and suffering. Clients I work with are typically individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing some form of emotional discomfort, or emotional pain. Sometimes this is stress brought on by recent changes to work, family, or significant relationships. Other times the focus of therapy is with clients who've made repeated but unsuccessful attempts at resolving a persistent condition.

The Family Center is a community-based, systemic therapy outpatient mental health center and the primary training location for Edgewood College's Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program. We work both with Individuals and Relationships by providing a variety of services. We are LGBTQIA2S+ friendly and racial-justice minded. Our clients seek out services ranging from anxiety and depression, to alcohol and drug issues, to premarital/marital counseling and more.
