As a licensed professional counselor, my goal is to help individuals, couples, and families identify areas where change is needed to enhance growth, harmony, and balance in their lives. My work centers Black & POC individuals, couples, and families who struggle to create harmonious relationships with themselves and others due to learned dysfunctional patterns and intergenerational trauma from systemic inequities (familial, cultural, and societal).

I am a seasoned psychotherapist spending my life looking for and experiencing traditional and alternative methods to heal emotional suffering. Most of my work has been with combat, complex, childhood and single episode trauma. I am well versed in grief recovery, family dynamics, healthy parenting and coping strategies for long term recovery. I work with people of all ages in individual, group family and weekend retreat sessions.

Cecilla studied and graduated in psychology in her native country of Peru. After immigrating to the USA, she has earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has completed AMO academy's required training and evaluation and was awarded the title of Master Hypnotherapist certification. Currently, Cecilla is pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Psychology. She believes in focusing on guiding the client to find the root cause of the mental difficulties and working together to meet desired goals.

I have a 100% online professional counseling service, using video conferencing. I work with clients ages 12 and and a wide variety of issues, I particularly enjoy working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, anger, and adjustment issues. I am eclectic and holistic in my approach to therapy, drawing from various systems of therapy to meet the individual needs of the client, and encompassing care of the body, mind, and spirit. While I do not impose my beliefs on clients, I am a Christian and willingly deal with spiritual matters that clients may bring to counseling.
