Since opening the doors of my private practice in 2021, I have provided clients in the Rockland County and greater New York area with a wide range of psychological services at affordable prices. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and better cope with change.

My expertise is in helping clients heal from trauma and anxiety. I help clients to find the roots of their symptoms so they may find relief as quickly as possible. I help client with panic attacks, PTSD, depression and general anxiety. I am skilled in both talk therapy and brain-based techniques that help to move along the therapy.

I provide a warm and supportive environment for you to feel safe, accepted, and nurtured. I view myself as an emotional guide. My intent is to follow your unique experience of thoughts, sensations, and feelings; help you deepen your understanding of yourself; and, support your inner wisdom as it leads you toward healing.

I bring over 25 years of experience working with depression, anxiety, panic disorder, ADD, PTSD, LBGQT in a compassionate safe environment where all emotional challenges are welcome. My sessions offer a wide range of options to fit your specific needs. This also includes play therapy for children. My methods are more Holistic and Humanistic than traditional psychotherapy. My ideal client feels that things may not be working out in their life and would like to talk about it, work on it, resolve and heal. I'm here to help on that journey. You may be dealing with trauma, bereavement, loss, substance abuse, or sexual and psychological abuse, work or school issues, ADHD, relationship/communication problems. During these difficult times, many have unmet needs and feel lonely, depressed and isolated. Most people want release from their emotional pain and greater joy and love in their lives. Helping others meet their wellness goals is a passion of mine, and I believe everyone deserves to be heard and valued. Having worked in service fields for most of my adult life, the transition to counseling was a natural progression for me. ‍ I am excited to work with individuals in one-on-one counseling as well as in a group setting. Over the course of my adult life I have worked extensively with individuals battling obesity, binge eating disorder and food addiction and something that I have learned is that guilt and shame are roadblocks that prevent us from moving forward.
