Wendell has over 16 years experience working with clients from a wide array of backgrounds. He specializes in solution focused therapy for his clients in individual counseling, couples counseling, relationship counseling, depression, anxiety, addiction/substance misuse, trauma, anger management, family support and LGBTQ+ related therapies. He also has extensive experience in supporting families and clients with cognitive and neurological deficits such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. I received my Masters from Columbia University and trained at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. I am certified in the treatment of Eating Disorders as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I help people understand and become curious about themselves. I challenge the negative thinking that plays endlessly in our brains. I work to help people develop their strengths, their voice and to regain agency in their lives.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I specialize in medication management. With 20 years in the field, I have extensive experience workng with clients from adolescence through adulthood with expertise in treating the full spectrum of depression and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADD, bipolar disorders and co-occurring substance/addiction issues. I can also offer DNA testing to assist with medication selection. I am fully credentialed and board certified. Although I don't accept insurance directly, I would be happy to work with your out of network coverage benefit or offer an adjusted fee scale to suit your needs.
