I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified psychoanalyst and PsyaD candidate. Whether we are struggling inside of ourselves, with a loved one, or our children, it is helpful to understand why we may be struggling, and what we can do to change things in our lives. She has provided psychotherapy for a wide range of concerns, including anger management issues, anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, trauma, inattention, disruptiveness, and social communication disorders. Dr. Kim also specializes in working with individuals and families with an immigration background. She has conducted research on the adjustment experience of recent immigrants to academic environments in the U.S. Finally, Dr. Kim provides both monolingual (English) and bilingual (English/Korean) psychological evaluations.
