My name is Gabriella Tavarez and I am a licensed social worker. I have recently graduated from Rutgers University with my MSW with a clinical specialization. I am currently working toward earning my clinical licensure. During my time at Rutgers, I have interned at a high school where I held individual sessions with the students who attend. I enjoy working with adolescent clients and feel that I can relate to them well. I have also enjoyed working with children and adults. I have had the pleasure of providing services for clients who experience depressive or anxiety-related disorders.

Sometimes you just need someone to talk to. Sometimes you just need someone to listen. Sometimes you just need to “get it off your chest”. I believe counseling is what you make it. Whatever direction works best for you, is the one I will use. I will always meet you where you are and we will walk this journey together. I have worked with a multitude of people including teenagers, young adults, mature adults and elderly in many different areas including issues related to coming of age, depression, family conflict, incarceration and anxiety to name a few.
