Hello, welcome to my page; I am the founder of StayWell Counseling. I offer tele-therapy services for both adolescents and adults. The most commonly reported concern I treat is anxiety. I approach both the mind and body when in treatment for anxiety. Learning about your behaviors/reactions and how to rationalize distorted beliefs are vital (cognitive approach), but this is just as important as learning to regulate your nervous system (body approach). Sometimes our fight or flight response is effecting our ability to pump the breaks and re-evaluate our reactions.

My passion is building connections with people. I will take the time to build a relationship of trust and understanding in order to best support you. It would be an honor to be a part of your journey.

I believe that every individual is unique. We all come from different backgrounds, and we all do not necessarily have the same diagnoses or issues. Therefore, a counseling approach that is effective for one individual may not be effective for another. As a result, I tend to combine multiple theoretical perspectives such as Experiential, Acceptance and Commitment, Person-centered, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. When faced with anxiety or depression, you often wonder if there is anything you can do to truly feel better or transform yourself. It seems like you’ve tried everything, and nothing has worked.
