My goal is to provide you with comfort, trust, and empowerment through education on ways you can improve your quality of life by dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, or personal issues, etc. Coming to therapy can be challenging, so let me help you. The client-therapist relationship is very important in this process and one that begins at first contact. Though I practice at a Christian counseling center, religion and/or faith will not be a topic of discussion unless you initiate it. I'd be glad to hear from you.

My inclusive and supportive practice offers a safe space for couples seeking counseling to strengthen their relationships. I utilize evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailored to meet each client's unique needs. I aim to empower clients to overcome obstacles, achieve personal growth, and find lasting healing.

Bethesda Counseling Service was created from the idea that individuals, couples, and marriages and families are not to maximize their potential. I believe that some individuals hinder themselves and their potential due to faulty misconceptions that they have acquired over the years. These faulty misconceptions appear to blind some individuals from seeing the solution to their problems. Sometimes, individuals need someone to help them to see their solution and aid them in maximizing their potential. I believe that you and I working together can help you to be that person, couple, marriage or family that you want to be.

I strive to create an environment that is safe for all people to share their hurts and wounds, grow, and experience deeper connection in relationships. I work with clients to help increase self-awareness, process systemic shame, develop more effective tools and coping skills, experience themselves in new ways, and create a healthier family system and relationship patterns.

Life throws us curveballs...and sometimes we realize that our old ways of coping just aren't working anymore. Counseling can be immensely helpful in getting back on track or adjusting to new life circumstances that are beyond our control.
