As a counselor I am committed to being an understanding and flexible presence for my clients because I believe it’s my duty to ensure you are heard, to help facilitate opportunities to heal, and to provide support as you grow. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are dealing with anxiety, loss, grief, depression, and relationship issues. I aim to provide my clients with the opportunity to address distressing life patterns, process heavy emotions, heal from impactful life events, and find more satisfying ways to express themselves and relate to others.
I take a holistic approach to therapy, utilizing multiple techniques in my therapeutic approach including: Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Psychodynamic therapy. When appropriate, I incorporate mindfulness and calming techniques to create a safe space and provide my clients with tools they can use outside of therapy.
