I have been a therapist for over 15 years. Before opening my own practice, I had the opportunity to work as a supervisor at a busy mental health and substance treatment facility. Wanting to focus on the clients and get back to what I love about providing treatment, I decided to pursue private practice. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma issues, grief issues, and relationship problems.

Life is about balance and balance is not something you find, but something you create. I utilize a variety of different therapy techniques to help individuals, couples, or families improve and grow in their mental health by exploring the imbalance in their life and by focusing on how they can feel better through change. Hello! My name is Gary Roth. I received a BA in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1980 and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Central Michigan University in 1986.I have worked in many different positions throughout my career. I have extensive experience treating kids from ages 5-18 with behavioral and mental health issues. I also have experience treating chronic mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma disorders, and bipolar disorder. In recent years, I have had the pleasure of working with older adults struggling with health issues and adjusting to retirement.

I received my Masters of Social Work degree from Michigan State University and have worked with individuals, families, and children for over 10 years. I am passionate about a whole-person approach and enjoy using Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Somatic Therapy in my sessions. I specialize in treating trauma and anxiety disorders and use a collaborative, strength-based approach to foster hope, healing, and resilience. I believe that every person is their own "expert" and love watching people build more meaningful and fulfilling lives.

I help my clients work through their depression, anxiety, and ADHD from the comfort of their own home utilizing telehealth and have immediate openings for new patients.

I provide individual therapy focused on the treatment of emotional and mental health challenges experienced by adults, adolescents, and children. I utilize an eclectic approach of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, integrative mental health, and play therapy.
