I am trained in play therapy, CBT, Trauma-focused therapy, grief/loss, children of divorce, OCD, parent-child conflicts, relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, child adoption, IEP's, school related issues, couples therapy and existential therapy - focuses on free will, self-determination and the search for meaning. Dr. Moseley is a Christian psychologist with nearly 30 years of experience in the mental health field with children, adolescents and adults. She has worked extensively with parents and children struggling with emotional and behavioral disorders and those with traumatic exposures. She treats PTSD, traumatic grief, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and ODD. Dr. Moseley specializes in Christian counseling, marriage & family therapy, (interracial couples, multiracial individuals, blended families, foster care/adoption) and individuals of Caribbean descent. She also works with issues around the transition to adulthood and career concerns.

Although I incorporate a variety of approaches into therapy, I primarily draw from the relational psychodynamic model. This orientation assumes that in order for a person to experience emotional health, she or he must maintain fulfilling and satisfying relationships with those around them, and that emotional distress often is the result of negative, past relational experiences.

I have worked as a clinician in mental health for over 25 years. I have dedicated myself to child welfare and have a specialty in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, adoption, attachment, Bipolar and addictions. I take a supportive approach to my client work so they are able to arrive at healthy solutions. I also have experience in family therapy taking a family systems approach to the work. I earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Massachusetts, Lowell, in 1989. I obtained my Master's degree in mental health counseling form Suffolk University in 1993. I completed my certification in graduate studies in counseling at Lesley University in 2006.
