I offer compassionate, heart-and-soul-centered, nonjudgmental, supportive, strengths-based therapy in the comfort of your own home via telehealth. I work with teens, kids, families, parents, individuals and couples. I am trained at Simmons College and Harvard Medical School. You deserve the BEST! I became a therapist because I LOVE PEOPLE and I want to support you becoming the person you always wanted to be. I am not adverse to walking through tough stuff and lingering issues from the past and present that need healing.

Telehealth sessions only. NO Masshealth. I use experiential techniques including Attachment Focus EMDR, Internal Family Systems, ACT, Schema Therapy, Child Work, Integral Deep Listening, Ego States, DBT. I offer dating, premarital and Family Counseling. If you are looking understand and manage traumatic experiences, child wounds and to improve your relationships I am here to help you go deep into those problems. It can be difficult navigating the challenges that life throws at you and it is easy to get stuck in a negative cycle of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. With over a decade of experience, we will focus on what is right with you and not on what is wrong with you in order to help you benefit from hardships, identify solutions, increase your happiness and find a better sense of well-being and purpose. My specialty is in treating OCD, anxiety and phobias using Exposure Therapy, CBT, ACT, DBT and coping skills. I also enjoy incorporating my passion of art into my sessions through Expressive Therapy, focusing on visual arts.

As an Acute/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner, I was not cognizant of the impact of mental illness on family and society, until I decided to pursue a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Degree. I believe that societal stigmatization of mental illness, and the shame felt by families who have a loved one with mental illness, makes it difficult for these patients to recover, and live peacefully for the rest of their lives. Psychiatric illness should be treated like a medical illness with no stigma, no blame or shame.

The client/therapist relationship is the most important ingredient in therapy. I am a thoughtful, caring, licensed therapist. My patients consistently state that they feel very comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings because they feel listened to. I am a former teacher and a good listener.

I specialize in working with clients who have experienced Loss, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Conflicts, ADHD in addition to others. I work with these clients to build on their coping skills to guide them in reaching their goals. I assist clients in building awareness of their symptoms as well as increasing coping skills to manage and ultimately reduce their intrusive symptoms and return to their previous functioning or create a new healthy lifestyle.
