We primarily serve children with social challenges, anxiety, learning difficulties, ASD, and challenging behavior. We love working with parents and collaborating with schools to provide children with the best care possible and to promote generalization of skills across settings.

I specialize in substance abuse evaluations for the courts, for substance-related motor vehicle violations such as OUI and Immediate Threat, and for the US Department of Transportation as a Substance Abuse Professional. I am an expert witness and provide testimony on sentence mitigation issues. My ideal client is someone with substance abuse and other addiction issues seeking treatment and/or evaluation.

A comprehensive evaluation is often the first step in helping to understand an individual's difficulties, cognitive profile and learning differences. Working for years in ADHD clinics and neurodevelopmental centers has fostered my expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment recommendations for various cognitive, behavioral and emotional disorders in children and adults. I also have expertise in assessing the neurocognitive effects of chronic Lyme disease and fetal alcohol syndrome. All therapy and testing services are currently provided via telehealth.

You would never let your child or yourself undergo surgery without an x-ray, so why would you ever start medications or therapy without testing? Our practice helps thousands of Massachusetts children, teens, and adults who have tried a myriad of therapies and medications with little to no success, so far. Our mission is to provide hope again in what seems like a failing mental health care system. We also accept every major insurance payer to ensure that all people can get access to affordable quality psychological testing.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience working with young children through adulthood. I have worked in a variety of settings and have experience providing outpatient therapy, school-based counseling services, and neuropsychological testing. My experience includes a wide variety of ages and symptom presentation. I use an eclectic approach and believe that each individual deserves specialized treatment based on their presentation and goals. I incorporate elements of Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Exposure and Response Prevision, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Deena provides therapy and psycho-educational testing to help children achieve their potential and succeed. If a child is struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, or ADHD, Deena can work with them to recognize and manage their emotions. Deena also provides comprehensive evaluations which test for ADHD, learning disabilities, and social emotional issues. Deena has a Doctorate in Child-Clinical/School Psychology and has worked with children of all ages throughout her professional career. Deena has worked in early intervention, clinical settings, and a public elementary school.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluation. Most referrals reflect concerns around life-long problems as well as recent changes in functioning that concern friends and family. Most of the time, patients and their families/supports are looking for empathy and clarification around real-world problems. This in-depth clarification allows for real-world treatment recommendations that can make a difference. Lengths are taken to minimize time in office. These include telephone and video interviews as well as electronically submitted forms and fact sheets.

Please note: At this time, I am only accepting referrals for ADHD evaluations. A major focus of my work is in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD children, teens and adults. I understand how ADHD affects families and relationships, school, work and self-esteem. Because of the level of misinformation, I provide the facts about ADHD along with evidence-based strategies for bringing about change. Additional practice areas include couples counseling, parenting issues and helping adults with anxiety, depression and/or relationship difficulties.

I have over 8 years of experience working in mental and behavioral health, including in therapy, addiction treatment, emergency mental health, and inpatient and outpatient treatment. I specialize in treating individuals struggling with ADHD and in working with individuals who identify as neurodivergent. I am conscious of the manner in which these individuals are at a higher risk for addiction, hospitalization, suicide, physical health problems, and social challenges (e.g., bullying).
