I work with people ranging from children, adolescents, and adults who seek therapy for many different reasons. Dealing with emotional pain and stress is difficult and therapy helps people learn new ways to overcome the feeling of being stuck and empowers them to move forward with their lives. Common symptoms people experience are anxiety and depression and it can be inhibitory to a person's life, leading to negative feelings. I collaborate treatment with clients dealing with emotional and physical issues that can lead to positive life changes and a more fulfilled well being.
My practice provides a comfortable, safe space for people seeking behavior modification. I work with people on the Autism Spectrum, Trauma issues and Concussions. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trained in Brainspotting, which are therapeutic modalities. The focus is to help decrease internal stress.
My Occupational Therapy and clinical background complement my practice. I have been seeing an increase in clients with concussions in my practice and noting that EMDR & Brainspotting have been reducing headache symptoms and improving moods.
