Kids and teens are under tremendous pressure at home, in school, on social media, and with peers. These pressures can present themselves in various ways; anxiety, depression, eating disorders, school problems, and/or behavioral issues. My focus is on making your child feel heard, while also providing them with their own toolbox of coping skills. I have experience working with children, preteens, and teens at various settings including schools, residential facilities, group therapy, and individual therapy. Building a collaborative relationship in a safe environment is the gateway to recovery.
One can learn to live a meaningful life and overcome their mental health struggles. I am passionate and compassionate about this work because I get it. You and/or your child do not need to struggle alone any longer. Treatment is built on collaborative goals and tailored from different developmentally appropriate evidence based techniques.
After teaching for many years, I made the major life changing decision to transition from educator to therapist.
