I am a private practice therapist focusing on: Blended Families, The Family Structure, Individual Therapy with kids, teens and adults, Play Therapy, Trauma, and Addictions. It is important during treatment/therapy to rebuild the family structure because changes, healthy or not so healthy, affect the client’s family. Substance-Related issues, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and Addictive Disorders affects each family member and the support and recovery from the family system is vital in helping to create more positive outcomes for our clients.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked with children and families for the past 6 years in different capacities. I meet every individual where they are at in life to best provide unique and individualized services and work towards goals that are set by the client. I work with children ages 2 and up, as well as adults doing both individual and family therapy. I have experience working with individuals that have suffered trauma from physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and incarceration.

I believe that life is a journey. In this journey, life often has detours, obstacles and challenges that can lead us off our desire path. Together in therapy we will work together to begin to travel down the new desired path and journey in life. I use a client centered focus to meet you, the client, where you are and allow you to determine your goals and focus of therapy. I use traditional talk therapy techniques as well as hypnotherapy and mindfulness techniques.
