The individuals that I provide counseling to usually vary in their needs, but can include those seeking Substance Abuse and Biopsychosocial assessments. During services I assist these clients with creating treatment plans in compliance with Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program. These client receive individual and group therapy to assist with reducing current risk and increase coping skills as well as move toward a more balanced mental health status.
I am a Licensed Mental Health and Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, DWI/DUI treatment provider (VASAP). I graduated from University of Iowa in which my studies included a clinical rotation in Psychiatric Medical units. The units were comprised of patients that had a combination of mental illness with biological terminal illness.
