I am launching my DBT skills training series for 18-29 year old's next week! Please see details under groups. If you want to communicate, email is most effective. Phone call replies will have a delay. I specialize in working with individuals who are often considered to be "high-risk", have more than 1 diagnosis, and a lot going on. This usually includes those who have trouble managing and tolerating their emotions and relationships resulting in engaging in behaviors to manage oneself like self-injury, substance abuse, suicidal thinking, and suicidal behavior. I am trained and certified in DBT, a rare accomplishment. I've specialized in DBT for over 20 years and train, supervise, and consult with other professionals, agencies, and schools. Much of my practice is providing DBT. I also provide CBT for those who have specific, short term problems and needs.
I am proud to be a clinician who does treatment to fidelity. I stand behind doing DBT as it has been proven to work in studies. Relationship is essential in therapy and so is obtaining treatment as tested through strenuous research. My attitude is you deserve the best treatment, not treatment. If you are in need for DBT, you should get DBT, not "some" DBT.

DBT skills training is called a "group" but is really more of a class as you learn new skills each week. This group is specific for young adults, 18-29 year-old. The goal is to help individuals learn skills to apply to their lives and obtain support to increase success of using the skills at school, work, and life. This does not substitute for therapy and attendees are required to have an individual therapist. This is 100% virtual which is very successful! Interested in learning more? Email me!
