Working through mental health challenges can be scary and lonely, but I know how much life can change for the better when you get the support you need and take those important steps towards finding peace. Having a counselor that not only listens, but is honest, empathetic, and understanding is important to finding the right mental health professional. You are special and unique which means that I will not use a “cookie-cutter” type technique but rather one that is designed specifically for you, your personality and style, and the most straightforward approach to meeting your goals.
I can use a variety and combination of integrated Therapy modalities, such as, Faith-Based Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and other therapeutic techniques. I look forward to meeting you and working through your journey to wellness together.
My dedication to mental health stems from my own personal experiences both growing up in a family where there were mental health issues, and overcoming mental health issues of my own. I have overcome those and many other personal challenges, resulting in my ability and passion to help others going through difficult life experiences.
