We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

Before I came to New York, I was a lecturer in medical school and a neuroscientist. I was interested in the wonders of the brain from a scientist's point of view. My focus, over the last decade, has shifted from the brain to the mind. I think of psychoanalysis as a profound journey of understanding of oneself. Its purpose is to help people to understand feelings, behaviors, and habits that are troubling to them and to enrich their lives with new creativity, more fulfilling careers, and more meaningful relationships.

Hi my name is Rob York, I am the clinical director of PMA Mental Health Counseling. We are located in the Flatiron District of NY and we are now doing TeleHealth video sessions.
