I am a clinical mental health counselor working in a private practice in Canton. I believe that it takes great strength to reach out and make that first step to seek out guidance and support. Having experienced substance abuse through the eyes of a mother and wife, my passion is to help clients struggling with addiction as well as family members impacted by drug and alcohol abuse. I began my career path in Exercise and Sport Science and felt the need to change course to mental health when I first started working with the Autism population in Utah. Later, I received my Masters in Social Work at the University of South Carolina. My specialty areas include guiding clients to recovery from trauma, compulsive pornography and sex addiction recovery, healing betrayal trauma, and treating OCD, PTSD, and depression and anxiety.

I am an experienced, effective professional working with clients to help clear away that which obscures clarity. Grounded in the belief that people inherently possess the knowledge and ability needed, they may need help to break through the emotional and cognitive defenses that block them from moving forward. I have a strong affinity for working with 20-somethings and men who are having life and relationship challenges. I create a safe, comfortable, & non-judgmental environment for exploration, insight, and change! Client ages 18+ preferred.

I work with ages 13+, male and female, all religions, all races, etc. It is not fair that some people have access to the best addiction counselors in the world and others don't have the same resources or transportation to those same resources. Here at Addiction Counselor USA, we provide those same services to you in person, by phone, telemental, your home, community, etc. We do whatever we must to bring our services to you.
