I believe creating an environment where everyone can feel safe and heard is vital, and cultivating a therapeutic alliance to be alongside individuals as a nonjudgmental support in the journey to wholeness and independence. I listen for unique needs and preferences and utilize an eclectic and integrated approach to working with the whole person. With empathy and compassion I will also ask challenging questions to explore ideas, new ways of thinking and understanding, and guide intuitive discovery for meaningful change.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults and helping clients learn how to apply coping skills in day to day life, recognize how past events impact their present emotions, and improve their ability to have successful relationships. Whether this is adjusting to new roles in life, coping with overwhelming anxiety or enduring the stifling impact of traumatic experiences, there is all the aptitude needed to deal with these problems within the client. I can assist the client in developing and strengthening the skills needed to effectively manage their lives.

Rebecca Coursey is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has been practicing since 2000. She graduated from Georgia State University with a MS. in "¨ Professional Counseling. Rebecca believes in CBT Treatment Her main areas of focus include Depression, Anxiety, OCD. In Rebecca's spare time, she enjoys music, reading books, walking, and hiking.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the State University College of New York at Oswego and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University. Tonya enjoys working with adolescents and adults suffering with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, trauma, family conflict, and everyday life issues. She will provide a safe place for you to open up and talk about whatever's on your mind, as well as help you navigate through the challenges of life.

Dr. Cindy Edins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Educational Psychologist. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as a PhD in Educational Psychology. Dr. Cindy has over 20 years of experience counseling and 12 years of teaching psychology courses at local colleges/universities. Dr. Cindy has advanced training through the Beck Initiative for Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy for which she holds a current certification. She is also certified as a substance abuse counselor through the 7-Challenges program which supports the clients in making healthy decisions about their drug and/or alcohol choices.

After receiving invaluable warmth & empathy during my own experience of therapy I felt obliged to give others the same compassion. I use my skills as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, Registered Yoga Teacher-500, & EMDR trained therapist along with IFS-informed parts work to help empower others to heal their wounds. I was motivated to earn the credentials of Registered Yoga Teacher-500 & Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator when my psychotherapy practice revealed to me that achieving whole-self healing requires not only addressing the scars of the mind, but also those held in the body.
