Growing up with a Hebrew name that was frequently misunderstood in a primarily English-speaking society fostered cultural awareness from a very young age. However, this adversity combined with pride for her identity allowed her to recognize and embrace others’ diversity. The dichotomy of growing up in a suburban American society with certain outlooks, and then coming home to differing cultural perspectives helped her develop an expanded range of vision and acceptance of others.

Dr. Kity D. Laboriel is a Florida licensed clinical psychologist with both a wide and deep range of experience providing services to children, adults and families. For the last years, Dr. Laboriel worked as the Mental Health Specialist for the Head Start and Early Head Start Program in Broward County Public Schools. She believes that early identification and intervention is imperative to the prospect for success in life. This is particularly important with the significant increase in developmental delays in early childhood, behavioral disorders, and pervasive developmental concerns such as Autism.

In 2016, Ofra graduated with her Master’s of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. While pursuing her Master’s Degree, Ofra completed 500 practical clinical hours providing therapy to families. Ofra's experience consists of coaching families, couples, adolescents, children, and a diverse range of individuals with special needs.
