I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 38 years. Previous to being a therapist I was a teacher of the deaf. I enjoy working with couples, individuals and families on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, marital issues and parenting. I view life from a Christian perspective and enjoy helping clients integrate their faith into their life and recovery.

I also have expertise in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and geriatric mental health issues, including end of life issues. I help persons who are functioning relatively well, but want to increase ability to establish and attain goals; and increase their capacity for happiness and fulfillment in life. I specialize in empowering individuals in their quest for more satisfying romantic, social, and work relationships.

I have been in Private Practice for over 25 years. My practice serves children, teens, adults and families in a comfortable setting. Most clients I see have the diagnosis of depression or anxiety. My way of treating this is to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe if we can change the way we think about events in our life that we can find peace and balance. I have worked my entire career to find the most effective style of therapy, and received top training from Dr. Jeff Riggenbach, CBT Therapist and Dr. Patrick Cohn, top Sports Psychologist.
