My target community or population are those people living with disabilities, particularly those of the amputee population.. Many people living in today’s society are facing health issues, which could affect their quality of life, and how the adaptation of a life changing event may result in grief, depression, stigmatization, and isolation, due to the inability to receive appropriate mental health services and counseling, to assist in navigating through the changes which may cause feelings or despair and hopelessness. Behavioral Health services could assist individuals with learning how to prevent the devastating effect of limb loss.

Maybe you've been thinking of trying therapy for a while, or have almost given up that it could work for you. I'd love to help you see the beauty in accepting that, as in life, it’s okay to not "get it right" the first time. I enjoy reactivating hope in people to see the potential in themselves and in others. You don't have to try making changes on your own.

I am depth oriented, person centered, and art-based therapist. I deeply trust my clients, their wisdoms, and the potentiality of our relationships. In this work, we use and engage the symptoms and experiences of anxiety, depression, insecurity, etc. to move deeper into what often lies beneath these experiences: the enigma of living. Using compassion, acceptance, kindness, courage, and creativity this enigma becomes a dynamic partner in creating the life we want and need to live. LGBTQIA+ ally.

Are you experiencing anxiety, low moods, self-destructive behaviors, increased stress? Are you isolated, frozen in past or present trauma, or grief-impaired? Do you find yourself people-pleasing, and in a cycle of self-erasure? Often, it can be challenging to connect with a therapist who truly comprehends the intricate facets of your identity as a Black & Brown person, member of the LGBTQIA+ community, or advocate. We bridge the gap between marginalized communities and the therapists best equipped to guide healing. We invite you to lean into your journey toward growth and healing by taking the first step & scheduling with us.
