My style of therapy is eclectic.
I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 30 years of experience. My passion in counseling is helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves and with others. While I have specific skills, knowledge and training, my clients are the "experts" of their own lives. In counseling we work together to help the person find his/her own answers. I believe each of us has our own inner wisdom and my role as a psychotherapist is to help the client access that wisdom.

My therapy style is holistic and eclectic, relying heavily on the principles of DBT and ACT in conjunction with Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
Sometimes, we suppress our true identities and silence our voices because of external pressures and expectations, which ultimately keeps us from creating lives worth living. You deserve a space where you can be exactly who you are and become exactly who you want to be, in a way that makes you feel seen and validated. My aspiration is to be the kind of therapist my generational peers and I would have needed as adolescents: one who is solution-focused, authentic, nonjudgmental, will call you on your BS (gently!), and genuinely cares about you and your progress. (I do not treat couples or families at this time).

Now Accepting New Clients! At ClearPath Health, we view therapy as a collaborative process in which clients are encouraged to explore thoughts, feeling, and behaviors in a supportive, non-judgmental, and compassionate setting. Clients who have completed treatment leave with new coping skills, a renewed sense of confidence and fresh perspectives on their lives. In my years of service, I've worked with clients dealing with low self-esteem, anxiety, addiction, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, and stress-related issues, to name a few.

Today many people are struggling with increased stress, depression, and anxiety due to the COVID virus coupled with any other stressors they had before. Most people are looking to make some changes in their life. If you find it difficult to concentrate, make decisions, or motivate yourself it may be time to talk to someone. If you are taking medications for mental health, it is always a great idea to participate in therapy for long-term coping skills. If you are a veteran and in need of a private evaluator for Compensation and Pension disability claims, I have extensive experience conducting these types of evaluations.

I am currently taking virtual clients only. Therapy can be a powerful catalyst for change and the key to bringing your life back into balance. Whether you experience anxiety, depression, or just want support in seeking a new direction, there's no need to struggle alone. Together, we'll identify what is preventing you from reaching your goals. We will devise strategies to help you cope more effectively and create a plan for positive change. I often work with individuals adjusting through life transitions that include parenting, relationship conflicts, as well as those hoping to create a closer connection to their partner.

Are you struggling with feelings of emptiness, sadness or low self-worth? Do you often feel not good enough or constantly question yourself? Is there a disconnect between who you are and who you hope to be? You are not alone. As we journey through life we encounter many obstacles that life throws our way. These may even be normal transitions of life like going to college, starting a career, marriage, parenting, divorce or grief. Some of these things are out of our control while others may be the choices that we make, but we can learn to adjust and even thrive under any of these circumstances.

Eclectic Therapists
Many practitioners take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing upon various aspects of cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic methods to create their own custom-made approach. Such therapists often work with their clients to create a treatment plan that encompasses different techniques to best address the client's particular problems and to appeal to their sensibility.
