I specialize in working with clients who have had difficulty connecting with a previous therapist, perhaps had a bad first experience or maybe new to therapy and afraid they won't feel comfortable. I pride myself on making everyone who comes through the door feel welcome and at ease. No pressure - regardless of what you are coming to therapy to address, it is most important that I "get" you. The work and your progress unfolds from there. We will work together to look at what's holding you back and how you can move forward.
I have both a business degree from Northeastern University and a Masters in Social Work from Simmons College. Issues I work with include divorce/breakups, contemplating divorce, other relationship issues.
My goal is for counseling to be as positive as possible - something you will actually look forward to, not dread. My office is the "no judgement zone" where you can talk about what's going on and feel accepted for who you are.
