As a Connecticut licensed clinical psychologist for more than 40 years, I practice individual, couples, and group therapy. In my doctoral and post-doctoral training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Yale University, and throughout my years of clinical practice, I have had extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and meditation. I try to empathize with clients' feelings, and foster a safe, respectful, collaborative environment where in-depth exploration can occur. I can help you arrive at your own insights and conclusions. I use a person-centered approach to assist my clients in identifying their goals and paint an image of what they envision for themselves. I enjoy helping individuals work through infertility and or other women's issues (post-partum, pregnancy). Often, I treat clients struggling with life events, trauma, substance abuse/addiction, depression and anxiety. I have been working with in need families (adolescents and adults) throughout New Haven and Fairfield County for the past decade. I have an eclectic approach, meaning I use a variety of treatment modalities to work on issues presented.

I am here to serve people of diverse backgrounds who are ready to be "unstuck" from their current "unsatisfactory" existence. One of my goals is to be that bridge to connect with all men (particularly men of color, indigenous), women, and families. Therapy with Linda will be strength-based and solution-focused. Though visualization and reflection, Linda encourages self-empowerment through an exploration of courage, self-awareness, and love.
