I provide 20-minute WPATH/Letter of support on the first session, and I encourage my colleagues to do the same. I am the person you want to see if: You had bad experiences with therapy in the past, or you don't like the idea of staring someone in the eye and answering question after question, or you don't want someone who thinks they know you. All of those things make therapy a huge bummer.
Most of my clients start off coming in weekly and then transition to biweekly/monthly from there. All of my clients have access to me outside of the therapy session, usually that means a text here or there, or a phone call during a high stress moment. I understand you exist outside the four walls of my office and might need to tell me something.
On my off time I am doing stuff like making good trouble, playing video games, or looking for good food spots around town. I always make room in my schedule for trans / nonbinary / queer clients. If you need a letter for gender affirming care - let me know. Solidarity.
