Often, looking for a counselor and attending therapy require great strength and courage. Stigmatization around mental health disorders and lack of health insurance are some of the barriers many people must overcome before sitting in the counseling session. As a Counselor, I want to do everything possible to facilitate that process. I want to offer nothing different from what I would like to receive as a client: a safe, honest, and culturally-sensitive environment in which new paths to achieve a more fulfilling life can be discovered.

I assist my clients in identifying and working toward resolution or management of their psychological stressors. Other areas of concern that I can assist with are work/life balance, stress management, career counseling needs, and conflict resolution skills.
