I enjoy seeing adult and teen clients who are working on issues related to eating, mood regulation, anxiety reduction, trauma, and/or self-improvement. I have also worked at an outpatient eating disorder center since 2006. I have an eclectic approach to therapy that incorporates skills like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as looking at the best fit and goals for the client. I include humor and a deep understanding of people's need to be heard and work on themselves. I enjoy helping to guide someone in their own best path.
I specialize in working with individuals who have eating and body image issues, Mood Disorders and Anxiety. I also work with people who have a history of trauma and/or self-harm or suicidal ideation. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds including those with cultural, religious, sexual orientation or gender questioning/fluid identities.
I am open and honest and will be your best advocate for your own life.
