Therapy should be thought of as a safe space that provides the ability for all to feel safe and heard. As a counselor with over 10 years of experience working with the substance use population, I have come to realize substance use affects more than just the person in recovery but those around them as well. I specialize in the affects and healing of those in recovery from substance use, families and loved ones who need a safe space to discuss the anxiety and stressors that come along with the diagnosis as well as providing coping skills and tools to those in need as they relate to men's issues.
My goal is to support you in becoming an advocate of change. Whether that be, in your own life, or in the lives of your loved ones you will find support through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI) and a Person Centered Approach. We will work together to tailor your treatment to best suit your mental health needs.
