One thing we're guaranteed of in life is CHANGE. And quite often, change can be intensely emotional and very stressful. I am passionate about assisting people through transitions. Common transitions include marriage, divorce and other relationship endings, births and deaths, health issues, mid-life adjustments, career changes, parenting at different stages, even identity and self-esteem struggles. While transition has the ability to turn people's lives upside down, it needn't be that way. This is where therapy can be extremely helpful.

I approach each client as a unique individual. Diagnoses suggest empirically validated treatments, but each individual is unique. There is always room for personal growth and creating balance in our lives. I am kind, gentle and honest. I have been practicing in Thousand Oaks, CA for over 15 years. I run a free weekly support group for pregnancy and infant loss sponsored by Hospice of the Conejo. Other support groups I have run are Bereavement Groups for Children and the support group for those who lost their loved ones on the Metrolink train crash.

My 20+ years experience as a former attorney informs my work in separation/divorce cases and with clients otherwise involved in the legal system. I also do expert witness work in cases within my specialty areas.
