Hi, I’m Meredith, a Licensed Social Worker certified in TF-CBT. I have a passion for helping young minds navigate the challenges they face and grow into resilient, confident individuals. With 13 years of mental health experience, I specialize in providing compassionate and effective support to children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues.

I am a Fully Licensed Psychologist (LP) at New Beginnings Psychological Services. Our group of caring, compassionate, ethical, and skilled psychologists, counselors, and social workers provide relevant, culturally competent, and effective therapy to our patients. New Beginnings has been a part of the Coldwater Community for 25 years, the Marshall Community for 10.

I conceptualize people's lives as being like a recipe. If you (or I) put the ingredients into the bowl, we get a predictable final product- either good, bad or mixed. If you work with me we will figure out the good and the bad ingredients of your recipe. Some ingredients are beyond your control, some are not. We will then figure out how you can keep the bad ingredients out and the good ingredients in your life. What do you want your life to look like? Are you willing to pay the price to achieve that recipe?

While everyone struggles sometimes not everyone struggles the same way. To help meet you were you are in your journey I use a variety of approaches. I believe in helping you find your inner strength through strength based approaches, increasing your awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions through Mindfulness based interventions and other cognitive behavioral approaches. I also believe that all individuals should be treated with autonomy, dignity and fairness. In working with individuals I bring compassion, understanding and empathy to each session. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

I enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients, families, and couples. One of the things I have noticed through my experience is that most people are looking to mend relationships, improve their lives, and let go of their pain.
