I was a social worker at the elementary school level for 10 years prior to private practice, which allows me to bring a unique skill set to my work with children. I moved to private practice to have the ability to work on a deeper level with children and their families.

Elisabeth specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, behavior and impulse management, and ADHD. She conducts psychological and neuropsychological evaluations of children, adolescents, teens, adults, and elderly clients, and works with Jackson County guardian ad litem attorneys for cases regarding guardianship, conservatorship, and competency. Elisabeth also works extensively with adults with severe anxiety, depression, ADHD and a number of other diagnoses.

Hello, Here at A New Day We work with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families! We are a practice with Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Psychologists who work with diverse populations. We care about the growth of each individual who walks into our office and are dedicated to helping them achieve their best possible outcome. Many people worry that counseling is only for people that are "not normal", however counseling is to support people and to help them become their best. I have over a decade of experience working with children and their families. Much of that work has been with children who have confusing and/or challenging behaviors, as well as children who are neurodiverse. I am passionate about meeting the unique needs of children who have experienced trauma, as well as the caregivers who are helping them heal.
