We may not be able to change the experiences from our past, however, through our work together, we can make sure that they do not define our future. I’m here to listen without judgement, offer support, and encourage self reflection. I provide a safe space to confront whatever it is that may be holding you back from living your life to the fullest.

My job is to come up along side you and assist you in recognizing what you need to learn (and then do!)---as well as what you need to let go of (once and for all!). It is my philosophy that you can improve life through a better understanding of yourself and the world you live in. I help people achieve life improvements by jumping in and partnering with them to make positive changes`. I can work with you to help you get a better understanding of yourself while finding strategies to harmonize that unique person you are with whatever your unique life situation might be. I work primarily from a client-based perspective and can employ a number of different theoretical orientations depending on what is best for your situation.

I’m a masters-level fully licensed therapist with over 10yrs of experience - with a passion for helping the individuals I work with heal, grow & thrive as their authentic selves. I specialize in women’s issues, PTSD, complex trauma, childhood & generational trauma, codependency issues, addiction, self-esteem issues & anxiety disorders. I have a holistic & eclectic approach, using an array of evidenced-based techniques to help you meet your goals. I deeply value the process of therapy, both personally & professionally. “Mental health issues,” as we call them, are really just “life issues” – they define what it means to be human.

I work with adults who want to understand why their lives are not going the way they want and who unsuccessfully have struggled to overcome their challenges on their own. I have 20 years of experience in independent clinical practice and have trained hundreds of individuals to become psychologists. Having a strong background in higher education and academia, I am familiar with the latest treatment advances and can tailor my work with you to best suit your individual needs.
