I work with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, along with anxiety, depression and life stressors, as well as providing support to their caregivers. I help clients who feel they have lost a sense of who they are, have difficulty coping with new challenges and those who may find it difficult to be able to express their feelings and thoughts. I support them by providing a safe environment, showing compassion, listening and providing tools that can help improve their behaviors, communication, self-esteem and increase their positive self- talk.

I am a dedicated professional, who is willing to work with children, adolescence and adults with emotional problems and substance abuse, by utilizing positive interventions designed to address the needs of the individual that will promote a successful adjustment to life. Therapeutic issues addressed in my practice includes, but are not limited to, substance abuse, addictions, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, bereavement and loss, life crises & transitions, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger management and Post traumatic stress disorders. My practice style is family system, cognitive behavioral therapy and person centered therapy.
