Mallory believes that at any stage or age, all people have this in common: we have stories and are created for connection. While life can be amazing and beautiful, there is a deep awareness and experience of brokenness and pain — in ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Mallory believes counseling is an opportunity to enter into your brokenness and to find meaning, redemption, and ultimately healing and wholeness. This therapeutic process requires courage, authenticity, and a willingness to be vulnerable.

I enjoy working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, sexual issues, anger issues, relationship issues, grief, trauma, abuse and emotional and spiritual growth. As a counselor, I strongly feel that the first step in a client’s healing is feeling safe and establishing a place of security for the client. We as people are most wounded and most healed in relationships and the counseling relationship is the first place where that healing can begin. I believe it is important to gain awareness of how our past relationships and experiences have impacted us on an emotional, psychological, and spiritual level.

I have a passion to assist those who find themselves at a crossroad and unable to experience HOPE. I use my high energy and sense of humor to bring healing and hope to the clients I serve. I excel at coming up with innovative solutions which help people live with less pain and heal families. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group settings. I use a variety of techniques to tailor an individualized approach to best serve my clients.

I treat those struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, anger, trauma, grief, self-esteem and self-confidence issues, adjustment issues, relationship and family issues, social and communication skills, OCD, school and occupational problems, and ADHD. Through empathy, I strive to understand each client's specific context and unique perspective, and view each counseling relationship as a collaborative endeavor. My personal, educational, and professional life experiences have provided me with a strong foundation of patience and compassion, along with critical knowledge and skills needed to effectively help my clients.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master’s Level Addiction Professional (MCAP), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) effective treatment for trauma. I have many years of experience providing therapy and support to clients with psychological, emotional, and interpersonal difficulties including clients with substance abuse problems and victims of domestic violence. I have a wide experience working with people who present concerns related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationships, and maladaptive behaviors.
