I am a licensed clinical social worker with over two decades of experience in community mental health care. My goal is to help people from all walks of life identify what they value, change what they want to change, and make the often difficult decisions that can ultimately lead to less suffering and greater meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. I work with adolescents and adults ages 16 and older; some are facing significant mental health challenges, others may be looking for ways of managing life stressors and transitions with greater clarity and ease.

Let's get ready to start looking inward or to just stop feeling "tired of being sick and tired." I want to help you dig as deep as you need & to be your copilot. I will help with your navigation through all of your lives adventures whether in calm or treacherous waters. I have a long history with working with diverse and minority populations. There is nothing that can shake me & your mind will never scare me. I love transparency and directness so expect much of it from me. (Currently Only Offering Telehealth/Virtual/Video Sessions). There are times where we need a bit more support and perhaps an unbiased non-judgmental person to offer that lending ear. Depression, anxiety and stressors can be debilitating for anyone who has been affected by it regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. Therapy is a journey that can offer that support in which the therapist and client work together collaboratively in care. We will both row that boat together to get you to your established goal.

My name is Dr. Cruz, but you can call me Stella. I am a Clinical Psychologist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and I've been in practice since 2014. I offer services in English and Spanish. I have extensive experience providing individual and group therapy to adults.
