I enjoy working with adults and couples struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, relationship distress, and questions related to faith and spirituality. I have a specific passion for helping Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA), and others who have been impacted by substance abuse. My goal is to offer a safe space for you to be heard as you explore thoughts, beliefs, relationship patterns, and ways of coping that may be obstacles to living a more fulfilled life. Many of our deep seeded beliefs and patterns are often rooted in ideologies and relationships that are important to us.

My perspective is that life is complicated and it's easy to get lost along the way as we face our own struggles like fear, insecurity, shame and worry. If we keep those struggles in the dark, they'll only take root and trip us up and make us start to forget truth. It's only by bringing those dark places into the light that those roots can vanish and we can see truth and grow in ways we could never imagine. It's my joy to partner with others through that process and remove the stigma in seeking help.

Rachel is a licensed clinical social worker who provides therapy to individuals who are searching for an increased sense of emotional well-being and inner peace. She firmly believes that we all hold the answers within ourselves, but that we sometimes just need a little help accessing our own truth. Rachel utilizes strengths-based interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy in her work with clients. She has a strong background working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance use. Rachel honors the individual and is inclusive of all cultural, religious, and political perspectives.

I give couples the tools you need to get you out of negative communication and conflict resolution cycles and into deeper knowledge of yourself and each other. I also work with individuals who are struggling with perfectionistic tendencies, setting boundaries, and complicated family dynamics.
