I work with clients navigating comorbidities of mood, anxiety, personality, or trauma disorders as well as those seeking to integrate neurotypes such as ADHD and autism. I have in-depth passion and experience working with people of color, disabled clients, LGBTQIA+ clients, clients from non-Western cultural backgrounds, and clients exploring identity. It is deeply important to me to validate the experiences of people within marginalized groups and acknowledge how systemic oppression influences mental health.

I am optimistic in my therapeutic approach helping ladies with reproductive mental health, and couples, families, and individuals (adolescents/adults) who struggle with issues that affect their daily functioning. My goal is to empower clients to understand themselves, to highlight strengths, positive traits, coping skills, and encourage the potential that emerges during the therapeutic process. I also work with individuals struggling with all manner of relationship challenges and topics around identity. I have experience with and strive to create a warm and inclusive environment for those who are LGBTQIA+ or anyone who wants to explore some aspect of their sexual or romantic life. I am a sex positive provider who is kink-knowledgable and affirming of all relationship structures, including ENM and polyamory.

The Sex Therapist you never knew you needed! When client’s come to my office to seek therapy, the one part of themselves that is most often neglected is sexuality! Most people don’t even mention sexual beliefs, curiosities, behaviors, or attitudes until I ask. I believe that sexuality is so much a part of who we are, there is no way to fully heal and truly be at peace if our sexuality is not explored! As well as specializing in Sex Therapy, I’m also a clinical trauma therapist!

Receive Intensive Outpatient Program for Substance Use Disorder (IOP for SUD) while you reside at home. IOP is the level of treatment and the bridge between inpatient care and outpatient services. This means you will receive intensive level of care while you reside in your supportive environment. This level of care involves group therapy sessions, individual therapy, somatic therapies and more using evidence-based approaches.

I have extensive experience in addiction counseling/co-occurring disorders. I believe in the disease model of addiction and the family model, and recognize that by strengthening the family structure, families live healthier lives. I also recognize that addictions can be a learned behavior which can be controlled. For that, I view the 12 step model as support for treatment.
