I believe in tailoring a treatment plan that fits the needs of each client. This is accomplished by incorporating several therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Solution Focused, and psycho-dynamic techniques to facilitate growth and wellness.

My treatment is rooted in the belief that all clients deserve a supportive and non-judgmental therapist, who can assist them to heal during times of difficulty and equip themselves with positive and effective coping skills to face future challenges while expanding one’s window of tolerance. I work from a place of acceptance and patience by using a person-centered integrated approach tailored to each client’s needs and goals. I take pride in providing a collaborative and effective therapeutic alliance and understand that the client is the expert of their own experiences.

Sometimes painful life events can damage your ability to have healthy relationships, and a fulfilling life. You don't have to be crippled by anxiety, anger, fear, shame, and intrusive negative thoughts. I help individuals who have experienced trauma reclaim their lives. Trauma can take many forms whether it be: witnessing/experiencing domestic violence, sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, community violence or tragic loss of a loved one- to name a few. For many, the end result is flashbacks, nightmares, dissociation, irritability, low-self-esteem and feeling disconnected from yourself and those around you. My clients have seen and been through some serious stuff. Despite being determined, caring and hard-working, they feel like they cannot get back to life before what happened- well happened.

I work with children, adolescents, families, adults and seniors through individual, family, couples and marital counseling. I work with clients who have been abused, traumatized, neglected and are struggling and attempting to cope with issues of depression, anxiety, ADHD, separation anxiety, anger management, co-dependence, adolescence, preparing and moving to college, family stressors and dynamics, parenting, divorce, co-parenting, school issues, employment issues, job loss, retirement, grief, and alienation.

As a licensed psychologist and BCBA, I work with my clients to identify their values and create meaningful and sustainable behavioral change. Whether you are struggling with your own personal growth or you have a child who is struggling, we will work together to identify common triggers, break unproductive response patterns, and build flexibility and resilience to help you take action toward your goals. I work with children, teens, and adults in the areas of anxiety and stress management, executive functioning, parent coaching and training, and challenging behavior.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist working with families, couples, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, parenting stressors, and painful family dynamics.
