As an art therapist with a deep passion for fostering healing and personal growth, I am dedicated to working alongside individuals across the spectrums of gender and sexuality, as well as with neuro-diverse communities. While I am trained as an art therapist, I never impose expectations for clients to create art during our sessions, but the invitation to explore the transformative power of creativity is always extended. Regardless of age, art interventions can be a potent tool for increasing insight, expressing and containing challenging emotions, and regaining a sense of control over aspects of life that may have felt overwhelming.

Asking for help is one of the strongest things you can do, but it can also be one of the hardest because of past experience of not being heard, believed, or supported. Extreme stressors, life transitions, and traumatic events - including new or ongoing health conditions - affect every aspect of our lives and can make relationships - with family, friends, colleagues, and even healthcare providers - very challenging. The impact of these events can make us feel isolated, misunderstood, and unsupported (even by the well-intentioned). They can also lead us to make choices we aren't proud of and limit our enjoyment of life in general.

I enjoy implementing my skills in Cognitive Behavioral I help my clients get back on their feet. Whether they are struggling from depression, anxiety or trauma, I take a sincere look at the issues my clients are presenting with. It's been my experience that simply using positive psychology can help a client see their own inner strengths. I've had success with a variety of populations, be it teenagers, young adults all the way up to Holocaust survivors. Therapy-CBT. If you are looking for a warm, safe, non-judgmental therapist you may have come to the right place. I tend to have a very insightful mind and will genuinely take interest

I earned my Bachelors in Sociology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. and my Masters in Creative Arts Therapy & Creativity Development from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. I have multiple academic and art publications. My approach to Psychotherapy and Art Therapy is a means to explore the connection between mind and body that can be verbal and non-verbal. Being an individual born and raised in New York City, I understand how stressful city life can be on top of additional stressors in one’s personal life.

I specialize in treating teenagers, young adults, and adults. These transition periods can be difficult and often times misunderstood. The associated changes with any transition bring instability as the person passes through important periods of development. During this period, the person is typically required to make adjustments; however these adjustments are sometimes affected with negative and irrational thoughts. I believe that my specialized training and years of experience make me highly qualified to help with conflict that may come with this transition as they may indirectly affect school, career choice, and relationship.
