I am also a specialist in workplace executive relationship management.
As a therapist who believes there is not just "one way" to do treatment, I use an integrative approach to helping my patients. I am a practitioner with a unique perspective having a background ranging from business to mental health. Counseling and psychotherapy are 'teamwork' approaches to problem solving that should be as unique as the person seeking help.

My effectiveness is enhanced by the way the therapeutic relationship I create supports your growth and understanding, as well as the acquisition of techniques for managing stress and living powerfully.
I want to help you gain a greater sense of control over difficult thoughts and feelings. Clients often begin therapy requesting concrete tools to walk away with from each session. This is something I offer through through my enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, with a dual focus on techniques for altering unhealthy thoughts and behavior, and for improving insight, awareness, and mindfulness. I have a long track record of creating powerful results for my clients.

Imagine being in a peaceful, loving relationship.
Your thoughts are racing, stuck on replay. Your inner critic is winning. Life feels meaningless and exhausting. You want to escape reality. Feeling scared of vulnerability and hiding who you really are is wearing on you. Your relationships are draining. It feels like you're carrying around a body bag full of fears and insecurities. Feeling like a prisoner to your past is exhausting, too. Let’s face it: feeling confused, lost, and stuck has gotten old. Fortunately, you've come to the right place. Therapy can help. Life can be hard and feel overwhelming at times, but you don't have to live in pain.

We work with depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, eating disorders, bereavement, BPD, autism, ADHD, addiction, sexual abuse, DV, medical illnesses, relationship problems, LGTBQ+, adjustment disorders and forensic cases.
Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

Contacting a therapist can feel awkward and scary. Be assured that your life will improve as a result of therapy. We can work at a pace you feel comfortable with. We all want freedom from our emotional pain. Worries or anxiety, anger or depression, insomnia, relationship conflict or traumatic memories may lead to escape & dependence upon food, substances, experiences and relationships for relief. Escape never leads to peace. Thankfully, we all can learn to find a dependable source of peace in our minds and hearts, no matter the external circumstances. I can help you get there. I have been a therapist for over 25 years.

I am sensitive to problems such depression, anxiety, life transition, relationship issues, and addiction.
Congratulations! You've taken the first step in a journey to the life you deserve. The thought of finding a therapist you trust, feel safe and comfortable with can be overwhelming but so is the alternative: living with fear, frustration, uncertainty, and confusion. I'm always amazed at the courage my clients show as they move from a painful existence to one of hope and joy as they gain the tools necessary to create the life they want. Change is Possible!

I work best with individuals who struggle with generalized anxiety, are navigating major life transitions, seeking clarity in their life, experiencing relationship issues, or need to process past traumas that can cause stress, anxiety, depression, and/or feelings of being stuck.
Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes - Jung. I am a very curious, detail-oriented, and interactive therapist, with an approach that is thoughtful conversational collaboration with the goal of understanding your 'why' and effectively assessing and creating a plan for how to move forward towards the change you are looking for.  In working with me, we will be addressing your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how they effect your everyday life, and we will identify the barriers and patterns that you feel don't align with how you want to truly live your life.

Learning how to regulate emotions and not allow symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress and other emotional issues to take over their lives is a key component to my therapy. My practice is Telehealth, I'm licensed in New Jersey, New York, Montana and Florida.

Let's create a rewarding relationship that will lean into trust, safety and motivation for a better relationship with yourself and those around you.
People often reach out with a range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, addiction, eating disorders, career concerns, and the challenges of navigating life transitions. Whatever the specific issue, clients often share a common goal: to gain a deeper understanding of the issues they’re struggling with, to challenge and replace patterns of thought and behavior that are not serving them, and to learn helpful coping skills to manage stressors in healthy and productive ways. Ultimately, my clients frequently aspire to cultivate a life of fulfillment, authenticity, and peace.

The choice to begin therapy is a courageous one. I consider it a great privilege to partner with people as they work to improve various aspects of their lives. I provide a safe, empathetic, and warm environment to encourage exploration and personal growth. Everyone entering therapy has a unique set of goals; I work to meet those specific needs and desires through an eclectic approach of interpersonal, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and solution-focused therapy.

You learn to have a healthy relationship with your inner experiences that allows you to move forward toward your goals rather than staying stuck in unhelpful patterns.
I specialize in helping people dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, phobias, panic attacks and other mental health issues that are interfering with functioning. I enjoy helping people learn to manage symptoms which are getting in the way of their leading happy, healthy lives. My practice is diverse and I am particularly familiar with the legal profession (I worked in this industry for over 30 years), the LGBTQ community, the performing arts community and people in the recovery process. I also enjoy working with people who are going through transitions and want support for making changes in their lives.

I don’t do couples work, but individual therapy is effective for such issues in order to feel more present and fulfilled and to make decisions for oneself both in and outside of a relationship structure.
I have been working in private practice for the last ten years. A common type of client I see is someone who did quite well academically as a student and faces challenges when it comes to the more nebulous and messy arenas of adult life, particularly in careers and relationships. Oftentimes, the questions and choices one faces with no clear roadmap can feel overwhelming and isolating. I specialize in areas such as dating, attachment issues, polyamory, struggling with a break-up/divorce, infidelity, boundary setting with loved ones, job stress and confusion around career path, sexual identity, and generalized anxiety and depression.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
