I am a clinical psychologist/yoga instructor with over 25 years of training, research and clinical work. The foundation of my practice is Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and my therapeutic approach has evolved considerably since I first began. While traditional talk therapy itself is extremely beneficial, current research suggests that a holistic approach to treatment can often enhance or accelerate the healing process. Typically, my clients begin with traditional talk therapy, and based upon their individual needs, goals, preferences and lifestyle, I will offer a variety of modalities/tools/practices - but the choice is always theirs.

Most clients are looking for a better understanding of themselves and their current life circumstances. They want to know how they got to where they are. Most importantly, they want to move forward. By the time someone has made a decision to start therapy, there is often already a high level of pain, stress, and difficulty in their lives. They want relief and change, and they want it quickly. My therapeutic services are unique in that they are a blend of therapy and coaching. With compassion, insight, direct coaching, and a wide variety of tools and techniques, I will help you to craft the future life you are seeking.

I am a licensed Psychologist in private practice for over 23 years here to support you to develop healthy connections and to find safety, peace, & joy in your life, and to help you feel understood, valued, and respected. I provide counseling and psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, & couples around mood disorders, interpersonal problems, substance abuse, and family conflict. I conduct psychological assessments, including for adoptions, as well as substance abuse evaluations to assess for level of care needs. I complete evaluations in Court-ordered and Attorney-referred cases, including in civil, criminal & child protection matters.
