Most of my clients come to me with initial concerns of anxiety, depression and relationship turmoil. But at the core, the issues so often relate to the client's negative self-esteem, guilt and a persistent sense of not living up to one's potential. What I establish in the very first session is that here, within the safety of our therapeutic relationship, the client will find the strength to explore these negative feelings. My clients find me empathic, insightful, safe and deeply present.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in all aspects of older adults issues surrounding the challenges of aging and caregiving. I help people embrace and optimize their aging experience by utilizing compassionate and empathetic approach with realistic feedback guided by your needs, values, culture and self-determination. I provide a comfortable and safe therapeutic environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, where you can feel heard, understood and validated.

In working with therapy clients, I utilize strategies that are appropriate and effective for each individual client, family or couple; often taking an eclectic approach. I am always seeking to understand who you are as a person, not only what you are struggling with. Together we will identify specific, meaningful treatment goals and an effective plan.

With academic qualifications including a Master of Education in Counseling & Human Development and a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from Saint Lawrence University, her education underpins a solid grasp of human behavior. Previously, Aliza enriched her expertise working as a Life Coach at Herren Wellness and a Counselor at Gosnold Treatment Center, assisting individuals battling substance use and mental health issues.

Anna Andrade is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for ARISE Psychotherapy Services who provides individual psychotherapy services to adults and older adults. The clients Anna works with are typically coming to therapy to address past trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, women’s issues, life transitions, mood disorders, and stress management. Anna has an integrated approach that is rooted in CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Interpersonal therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy.
